The
Christmas Union meeting will be held
at Cement Masons Local 404 Meeting
Hall Friday December 16, 2011 at 7:00
PM. As in the past a catered meal
will be served. After the regular
business is concluded there will be
an awards presentation for graduating
Apprentices and service award recipients.
The officers would like to congratulate
the following: Graduating Apprentices
Josh Black, Joe Miklavcic, William
Rak, Ed Occhionero and Jerome Wilson.
25 Year Service Award recipients Anthony
Cristantiello, David Buchko, Carl
Mileti and Bob Risko. 30 Year Service
Award recipients Jeff LaBanc, Marvin
Morris and Ken Scott. 50 Year Award
recipient Nick Tenaglia. 60 Year Award
recipients Paul Boss and Pat Kilbane
and for the first time in the history
of the Union a 70 Year Service award
for Stokes Anderson.

| The Heavy/Highway Agreement negotiations
were concluded and the new agreement
is effective from May 1, 2010 to April
30, 2013. There was a wage increase
of $1.00 that was disbursed as follows.
Health and Welfare $0.50 and Pension
$0.50. There was no increase to the
hourly rate. All rate increases went
into effect as of May 1, 2010. |
